The Chance

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Cladding & Formwork Dispatch / Yard Person to join our team at the Breakwater Branch. This is a hands-on role that combines dispatch and yard operations with customer service and order processing responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched while supporting branch operations through quoting, order entry, and customer communications.

Your Role

As our Cladding & Formwork Dispatch / Yard Person, you will ensure customer orders are picked, packed and loaded safely and accurately while maintaining a safe and organised yard. You will also support branch operations by preparing quotes, processing orders in Pronto, responding to customer email enquiries, and independently managing ad hoc customer pick-up orders. You will be required to maintain a current forklift licence and driver's licence.

What You’ll Need

- Current forklift licence (essential)
- Current driver's licence
- Previous experience in warehousing, dispatch or yard operations preferred
- Experience in customer service,



order processing or internal sales support highly regarded
- Experience using Pronto or a similar ERP system advantageous
- Timber or building products industry experience advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer skills and confidence using email and business systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise competing tasks
- Reliable, professional and team-oriented approach
- Commitment to workplace health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties when required
