We're partnering with a leading specialist claims and legal services organisation that manages complex insurance claims on behalf of Australia's largest insurers. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Claims Account Managers to join their established teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging claims, manage your own portfolio, and build your expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Who we're looking for

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and at least 2 year post-graduate experience within insurance claims, OR
- Solid Motor/Property Claims experience (law degree not required for motor claims specialists)
- Experience working for an insurer, underwriting agency, claims management business, legal practice or loss adjusting organisation
- Solid analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to assess liability, interpret policy coverage and drive claims through to resolution

Experience managing one or more of the following claim types:

- Public Liability
- Professional Indemnity & Cyber
- Property & Motor

The Opportunity You'll take ownership of a portfolio of claims from initial notification through to settlement, providing strategic advice, managing stakeholders and delivering exceptional outcomes for insurer clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing an end-to-end portfolio of complex insurance claims
- Assessing liability, indemnity and financial exposure
- Setting and reviewing reserves
- Developing effective claims strategies to achieve timely and commercial outcomes
- Liaising with insurers, brokers, insureds, lawyers, investigators and external service providers
- Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes
- Identifying recovery opportunities where appropriate
- Preparing high-quality reports and recommendations for clients
- Maintaining excellent client relationships through proactive communication
- Managing a busy portfolio while consistently delivering service excellence
