Excavator Operator Required – Rathdowney Area (Immediate Start)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a competent and safety-focused Excavator Operator for a slope stabilisation project. The successful candidate will be operating a 14-tonne tracked excavator fitted with a drill rig attachment and working closely with ground personnel to ensure safe operations at all times.

This role requires an operator who is steady, precise and experienced, as the attachment being utilised is high-value equipment and working in close proximity to people outside the machine.

Duties

Operate a 14t tracked excavator with drill rig attachment

Carry out slope stabilisation works





Maintain protected exclusion zones and ensure the safety of labourers working around the excavator

Complete work efficiently while prioritising safety and equipment care

Pay Rate:

$50/hr - Normal Time

$65/hr - OT1

$75/hr - OT2

Requirements

Excavator ticket / VOC

White Card

Demonstrated experience operating excavators in civil or construction environments

Strong safety awareness and communication skills

Reliable and punctual

Target of 11 paid hours per day, including travel

Approximately 7 hours on site

4 hours paid travel (2 hours each way)

Option to meet at the Molendinar yard and travel to site with the crew

There will be a seat available in a vehicle travelling to site daily
