The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our passionate cleaning team as a Cleaner on a casual basis working evening shifts between 5.00pm and 8.30pm up to 4 nights per week.

The cleanliness and beautiful presentation of our venue is key to the visitor experience that we provide at this iconic tourism destination. Our striking Chocolaterie is set on 15 acres of landscaped grounds, 10 minutes from Torquay in the stunning Bellbrae.

The venue is open 7 days per week from 9am to 5pm, and the cleaning team plays an key role in the success of the business alongside a showroom, showcasing over 400 different chocolate products, an amazing café, serving wonderful meals and delicious treats, couverture chocolate production on site and an in-house ice creamery.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to have your own car as we are not accessible by public transport.

You’ll work with a close-knit team, creating a wonderful environment for our teams and the thousands of visitors each week. Your Role To be successful in this role, you will ideally be able to demonstrate previous experience of working hands on in a similar role.

You will need an eye for detail and a commitment to exceptional standards of cleanliness. You will be well organised.

This is a casual position with around 2-4 shifts per week including weekends and public holidays.

Shifts are 5.00pm-8.30pm Monday to Friday and 5.30pm-9.00pm on the weekends and Public Holidays.

Task & Responsibilities

Key tasks and responsibilities are:

- Vacuuming and mopping of all floors throughout the venue
- Cleaning and detailing restrooms
- Staff room and office cleaning
- Rubbish removal
- Scheduled detailed cleaning of walls and doors
- Demonstrate behaviours in line with The Chocolaterie Way and our core values of Caring, Commitment and Creativity
