Join a Team Where Excellence Matters
We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career and become a Clinical Coordinator/Dental Assistant within our highly specialised implant and surgical practice. Our practice specialises in dental implants, All-on-4 treatment, IV sedation procedures performed in-chair, and complex treatment completed under general anaesthetic in an off-site hospital setting. We provide life-changing treatment for our patients and are committed to delivering an outstanding experience at every stage of their journey.
As a small, close-knit team, every person plays an important role. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, thinks proactively and genuinely cares about delivering exceptional patient care.
About You
We're searching for someone who is:
- Professional, articulate and confident communicating with patients and colleagues
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Reliable, dependable and willing to go the extra mile when needed
- Compassionate and genuinely focused on patient care
- A positive team player who enjoys contributing to a supportive workplace
- Calm under pressure and able to think ahead
- Able to take ownership and responsibility within their role
Previous dental assisting experience is essential.
Applicants must have a sound understanding of infection control protocols, sterilisation procedures and clinical workflows within a dental practice setting.
Experience in implant, surgical or sedation dentistry would be highly regarded; however, it is not essential.
The Role
We are seeking a team member to join us for 3–4 days per week, with no weekend work. For the right candidate, this position offers the opportunity to become a permanent part-time member of our team.
Working closely alongside our principal clinician and Practice Manager,
you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of complex implant and surgical treatment while helping to coordinate an exceptional patient experience.
This position combines advanced chairside assisting with clinical coordination responsibilities. You will support the clinician during implant, surgical and sedation procedures, assist with clinical preparation and workflow management, and help ensure the smooth running of each clinical day.
You will also play an important role in coordinating patient care throughout their treatment journey. This includes assisting with treatment coordination, patient communication, appointment management, treatment preparation, follow-up care and helping to ensure patients feel informed, supported and cared for at every stage of their experience.
As a small team, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of their role, think proactively, communicate effectively and become a trusted support to both our patients and clinical team.
What You'll Find Here
• Exposure to advanced implant, surgical, sedation and hospital-based procedures
- A varied role combining clinical assisting and patient coordination responsibilities
- The opportunity to work closely alongside an experienced clinician in a highly specialised field
- A supportive and collaborative team environment
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- A workplace where your contribution is genuinely valued and recognised
Is This You?
This role will suit an experienced Dental Assistant who is looking for more than a traditional chairside position and enjoys building relationships with patients while coordinating their treatment journey. We are seeking a long-term team member who wants to grow with us, take ownership of their role and become an integral part of delivering exceptional patient care and treatment outcomes.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
