About The Role You will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, evidence-based and culturally responsive care to women and babies throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Practising autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, mentor and support other midwives, and contribute to quality improvement, education and research initiatives that strengthen maternity services across North West Queensland. Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.

C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.

This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
