evidence-based care. The role supports practice development, extended autonomy, and advanced clinical decision-making to deliver complex care, including assessment, intervention, care coordination, and recovery-oriented treatment for young people experiencing early psychosis. Working across Griffith and Wagga Wagga, the CNS2 aims to reduce the impact of psychosis, support functional recovery, and strengthen community-based supports through timely, evidence-based care.

As The CNs – Early Psychosis Intervention Team, You Will Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments and provides expert consultation to patients, families, and staff

Delivers specialist clinical leadership, mentoring, and education to enhance staff capability

Supports a culture of learning and evidence-based practice

Provides physical health monitoring, medication management, and care planning

Acts as a professional role model, advocating for patients, supporting clinical governance, and contributing to policy and procedure development

Collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, carers, and other health professionals Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact,



which is felt at a community level.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The

Following Criteria Minimum 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, including at least 3 years postgraduate experience in Mental Health.

Postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant in Mental Health.

A strong understanding of the five Clinical Nurse Consultant domains

Excellent communication, leadership and consultancy skills

Commitment to continuous learning, consumer-centred care, evidence-based practise, research and service improvement.
