PainAid Clinic is seeking a warm, compassionate and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

This is an prospect to work alongside experienced Pain Specialists and allied health professionals, supporting people living with persistent pain and the emotional challenges that often accompany long-term health conditions. Many of our patients also benefit from support in managing medication-related concerns, or other behaviours that may have developed as part of coping with chronic pain.

Our focus is always on providing respectful, non-judgemental and evidence-based care that helps patients improve their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

About the Role

You will provide psychological assessment and treatment to adults experiencing persistent pain and associated emotional or psychological difficulties.

Your work may include supporting patients with:

- Persistent or chronic pain
- Anxiety, depression and stress
- Adjustment to illness or injury
- Trauma and grief
- Sleep difficulties
- Emotional regulation and coping skills
- Health-related anxiety
- Medication reliance and dependence
- Substance use concerns where these intersect with pain




- Lifestyle and behavioural changes that support recovery

Working collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team, you will help patients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies and work towards meaningful, achievable goals. Working 1-2 days a week depending on your caseload.

About You

You will have

- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative and patient-centred approach
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
- Professional indemnity
