Our client, a Federal Government department based in Civic, ACT that supports our security and prosperity, requires the services of a Cloud Database Platform Administrator for a 12 month contract.

Duties of the Cloud DB Platform Admin:

- Implement and manage the operational aspects of hybrid solutions built on Microsoft Azure and SQL Server.
- Maintain cloud database platforms, architecture, administration, or related cloud-based solutions (Azure and/or AWS databases).
- Integrating and analysing diverse data sets in complex and business critical environments.
- Performance and capacity management of SQL server systems.
- Supporting Microsoft SQL availability groups and clustering implementation.
- Provide specialist SQL Server services for upgrade projects.
- Provide technical advice as required for the departments SOE.

Skills and Experience - Cloud DB Platform Admin:

- Robust focus on cloud technologies and demonstrated experience in cloud database platforms, architecture, administration,



or related cloud-based solutions- Azure and/or AWS databases.
- Windows Server and Microsoft SQL infrastructure supporting 2012/2016/2019/2022 environments.
- Azure and/or AWS Databases (SQL)
- Azure Managed Instance and Azure DB
- Transact SQL and Powershell
- API Automation
- Azure Data Offerings
