Priceline Pharmacy North Maclean is an owner run pharmacy with a high focus on customer service and patient well-being. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Dispensary Technician to join our team on either a full time or part-time basis. Our pharmacy prides itself on creating a pleasant workplace environment without sales pressure or quotas.
In this role, you will work closely with our lead pharmacists and healthcare team to ensure the accurate, efficient, and safe preparation and dispensing of medications. Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing Support: Accurately prepare, label, and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Manage Dose Administration Aid packaging
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track expiration dates, receive orders, and assist with stocktaking and inventory rotation.
- Customer & Patient Care: Greet patients, handle prescription drop-offs and pick-ups, and respond to general inquiries in a warm and professional manner.
- Compliance & Records:
Maintain accurate dispensing records, comply with relevant state and federal regulations, and uphold strict privacy/HIPAA/patient confidentiality standards.
- System & Administrative Duties: Utilise pharmacy management software (Fred Dispense Plus) to process prescriptions and manage dose administration aids (Omnicell/Suremed)
- Sanitation & Safety: Ensure the dispensary area remains clean, organized, hygienic, and compliant with health codes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Community Pharmacy
- Very sound dispensing knowledge and experience within a busy pharmacy
