Early Childhood Educator – Parental Leave Contract

About the Role

Your passion and enthusiasm will see you work closely with the Director and other staff, effectively engaging with families and children to implement high-quality educational programs.

The role includes driving as part of our pick-up and drop-off service, as well as participating in multiple excursions throughout the week.

You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of the EYLF and a strong understanding of the NQF/NQS, working in compliance with all regulations to meet high standards of care and education.





This is a fixed-term contract position commencing Friday 2 October 2026 and concluding Friday 2 April 2027 , covering parental leave. There is potential for the contract to be renewed or transitioned to a permanent part-time position, to be discussed closer to the end of the contract term.

Selection Criteria

- Cert 3, Diploma, Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Current Employment Working with Children Check
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead a classroom environment
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF
