Toolprocure Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Applications Engineer to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled CNC machinist who has positive knowledge of CNC machining, programming, tooling and precision manufacturing.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by programming, machining and testing of precision cutting tools on new CNC equipment. In addition, you will work closely with our sales team, providing tooling recommendations, support and service to our established South Australian customer base.

This unique position combines hands-on CNC machining with a customer-focused technical role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working both in the workshop and alongside customers on-site.

Key Responsibilities

- Program, set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.

- Manufacture, test and inspect precision cutting tools.

- Provide technical tooling recommendations and application support to customers.

- Conduct on-site customer visits to assist with machining processes, sales, and tooling service

- Prepare quotations and process customer orders.

- Liaise with suppliers regarding tooling solutions and technical enquiries.

- Manage customer projects from concept through to implementation.

- Support the sales team with product demonstrations and technical advice.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

About You To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience as a CNC Machinist within the precision engineering industry.

- Strong CNC programming, machining and problem-solving skills.

- A good understanding of cutting tools, machining strategies and manufacturing processes.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Good presentation
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- A current Australian driver's license.
