Stacks Davis Lawyers is a specialist commercial litigation and insolvency firm with offices in Bowral and Melbourne. We act for liquidators, insolvency practitioners and commercial clients in complex disputes, investigations and recovery proceedings.

Our practice encompasses all aspects of commercial litigation and insolvency, with particular expertise in corporate disputes, director liability, asset recovery, public examinations and insolvency-related litigation. We regularly appear in superior courts across Australia, acting in commercially significant and intellectually challenging matters for clients throughout Australia and Asia.

We are seeking a lawyer with 3–5 years' post-qualified experience in commercial litigation and/or insolvency to join our Bowral office on a part-time basis (three to four days per week). The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with two days in our Bowral office and the remainder working from home, together with genuine flexibility to choose your working days and hours.

You'll be trusted to manage your own matters while receiving the support and mentoring needed to continue developing your advocacy, strategic thinking and litigation skills.

About You

You will have

- 3–5 years' PQE in commercial litigation, with insolvency experience advantageous but not essential

- Excellent analytical, written and communication skills

- Strong commercial judgement and a practical approach to solving complex problems
- The ability to identify the issues that matter and develop clear, strategic advice
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team

- Pride in producing work of the highest professional standard

- Proactive, commercially minded and able to take ownership of your work while collaborating effectively with experienced practitioners
