As the champion of Australia’s largest industry, the Property Council plays a key role in shaping the future of our cities and communities. We’re looking for a Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of timely, accurate and engaging content across advocacy, member, internal and digital channels.
In this varied role, you’ll work closely with our Communications, Media and Marketing team to draft, edit and coordinate content for newsletters, emails, websites, social media, internal updates and member communications. You’ll help keep campaigns on track, support CRM and email activity, and make sure our communications are polished, consistent and aligned to our brand.
This is a great chance for someone with 2–3 years’ experience in communications, marketing, media, content or stakeholder engagement who is ready to build their career in a high-profile, purpose-driven industry organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Drafting, editing and coordinating content across advocacy, member, digital and internal channels
- Supporting newsletters, EDMs, website updates, social media posts and internal communications
- Helping manage content calendars, approvals, scheduling and campaign timelines
- Working with teams across the business to gather information and keep communications moving
- Proofreading and quality-checking content to ensure accuracy, consistency and brand alignment
- Tracking basic engagement results and supporting reporting on communications activity
What you’ll bring
- Strong writing,
editing and proofreading skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt content for different audiences
- Experience with web, email, CRM, social media or digital publishing platforms
- Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A collaborative, proactive and service-focused approach
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, media, marketing, journalism or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
