- Develop communication strategies specifically suited to a subcontracted and mobile field workforce.
- Maintain regular engagement with project managers, schedulers, site managers, operational leaders and field delivery teams.

About You:
You will be a confident communications subject matter expert who can quickly build trusted relationships across diverse operational and project teams.
You will be proactive, inquisitive and comfortable operating in an environment where processes and information may not yet be fully established. Rather than waiting for direction, you will use initiative, sound judgement and persistence to identify what is required and drive progress.
You will also understand the operational consequences of unclear or delayed communications and take a diligent, detail-focused approach to every message.
Essential Experience:
- At least three to five years’ experience in telecommunications, utilities, construction, infrastructure or a closely related industry.
- Demonstrated experience delivering workforce engagement or project communications within a complex operational environment.
- Experience establishing communication or engagement channels for a subcontracted, field-based or geographically dispersed workforce.
- Strong practical capability across Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and Swift.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and the confidence to work across operational and senior project teams.
- Ability to synthesise complex operational information into meaningful and actionable communications.
- Practical data and reporting skills, including the ability to track engagement and communication outcomes.
Highly Regarded:
- A qualification in communications, public relations, marketing or a related discipline.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage or mobile workforce applications.
- Change-management experience.
- Knowledge of process improvement, workflow automation or digital adoption.
- Experience supporting major telecommunications transformation or field-delivery programs.
The Team:
You will work alongside the broader project team and collaborate extensively with project managers, schedulers, site managers and operational stakeholders. You will receive operational direction and input from key project leaders while taking ownership of the communications and engagement workstream.
Interview Process:
The recruitment process is expected to involve one virtual Microsoft Teams interview, with a maximum of two interview stages.
Applications will be reviewed promptly, with shortlisted candidates expected to progress from Wednesday, 12 August 2026.
