We're currently recruiting for support and mentoring positions across our Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) and Parent Pathways (PP) programs. Whether you're drawn to disability advocacy or supporting parents to build stronger futures for their families, these roles share a common purpose: walking alongside people as they work towards their goals, and connecting them with the right support, skills, and opportunities along the way.

What You'll Be Doing

- Providing one-on-one, person-centred support to participants, whether that's advocacy for people with disability, injury or a health condition, or mentoring for parents building employment and family goals
- Working collaboratively with participants to develop personalised support or goal plans, and adjusting these as circumstances change
- Coaching and guiding participants on job search, interview preparation, resume building, and workplace or life skills
- Connecting participants to relevant training, community resources, employers, and specialist services
- Building and maintaining relationships with employers, community organisations, and other stakeholders to support strong referral pathways
- Maintaining accurate, timely case notes and records, and meeting reporting requirements under program guidelines
- Travelling within your region, including to outreach sites, as required
- Upholding participant confidentiality and adhering to TAG policies, procedures, and all relevant legislative requirements

What We're Looking For

- Experience supporting people facing barriers to employment, whether people with disability, or parents and families in the community services space
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Human Services, Social Work, Community Services, Youth Work) is great to have,

but not essential, if you don't hold one yet, we're happy to support you in working towards it
- A genuine passion for supporting people in our community, with the empathy and patience to walk alongside people through difficult or complex circumstances
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people and stakeholders
- Sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage a caseload with accurate record-keeping
- Proficiency with administrative and computer systems, including participant/data management systems
- A current driver's licence, and the ability to travel intra-state as required
- A current (or ability to obtain) National Police Check and Working with Children Check

What TAG offers
- Performance incentives recognising robust outcomes
- A structured induction program with ongoing development and training Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential wellbeing support
- Salary sacrifice arrangements for superannuation
- Cash out or advance annual leave options
- Access to Perkbox discounts across retail, dining, and entertainment
- Dedicated professional development days
- Refer-a-friend rewards program

A warm and inclusive invitation At TAG, we know that diverse experiences make stronger teams. We warmly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people living with disability, members of the LGBTIQ+ community, and people with lived experience as parents and caregivers.

If you're passionate about supporting families and making a real difference in your community, we'd love to hear from you. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
