About the role

QMR Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and hard-working Construction Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for construction work to contribute to delivering quality at our newly started development site at Forster NSW 2428. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our project runs smoothly and safely, supporting the Site Manager and skilled trades and contributing to the successful completion of construction sites.

What you'll be doing

- Prepare and maintain construction sites, including clearing debris, organising materials and equipment storage

- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision

- Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles and move items around the site as required

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment

- Help with site cleanup and waste disposal at the end of each working day

- Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or hazards to supervisors

- Support the team in meeting project deadlines and quality standards

What we're looking for

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- A genuine interest in the construction industry and willingness to learn new skills

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- A commitment to health and safety practices on site





- Basic understanding of construction site procedures and practices

- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

- Previous construction or labouring experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate

- Valid driver's licence is preferred

- White card is mandatory

- Forklift or Telehandler licence would be an advantage
