This is a standard vacancy to fill a number of Permanent (Part-Time or Full Time) or Fixed (Part-Time or Full Time) appointments*

Renumeration: Consultant Year 1-9 is $412,161 to $523,436 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation and applicable allowances)

About the role:

As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will provide high-quality clinical care to paediatric and neonatal patients across the Goldfields region. While primarily based at Kalgoorlie Health Campus, you will also contribute and provide outreach to surrounding communities. This position incorporates Paediatric Developmental and Medical Outpatients’ clinics at Kalgoorlie Health Campus and other Goldfields sites.

Working in close collaboration with the Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and our expert clinicians, you will lead the delivery of patient-centred care,



contribute to clinical governance, and play an active role in policy development and service improvement. This position also offers the opportunity to mentor and supervise registrars, residents, and interns, fostering the next generation of paediatric specialists.

You will be part of a dedicated team of Paediatricians supported by five trainees, including a Senior Registrar, Registrar and Residents. The role includes an on-call component, allowing you to make a vital impact in emergency and critical care situations, including neonatal medicine and the opportunity to working alongside a multidisciplinary team for child development.
