Green Light is seeking an experienced and results-driven Contract Manager to lead the commercial and contractual management of Defence programs, with a particular focus on arms, ammunition, weapons systems, and related defence capability projects. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Defence contracting, government procurement, and complex commercial negotiations, ensuring contractual compliance while supporting strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full contract lifecycle from bid and proposal stage through contract execution, delivery, and closeout.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer complex Defence contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Defence procurement regulations, export controls, and government contracting requirements.
- Provide commercial guidance to project, engineering, procurement, and operational teams.
- Identify contractual risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Lead contract change management activities, including amendments, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.

Defence Program Support

- Support programs related to arms, ammunition, munitions, weapons systems, and related defence capabilities.
- Work closely with Defence customers, military stakeholders, government agencies, and prime contractors.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met across production, testing, delivery, sustainment, and support activities.
- Monitor contract performance, milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements.

Commercial & Risk Management

- Develop commercial strategies that maximize revenue opportunities while minimizing contractual exposure.
- Conduct risk assessments for bids, tenders, and ongoing contracts.
- Support pricing reviews, cost analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Manage contract claims, warranties, liquidated damages,



and dispute resolution processes.

Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Defence customers, suppliers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, quality, and project teams to ensure contractual compliance.
- Present commercial recommendations and contract status updates to senior management.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Commerce, Contract Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in contract management within the Defence sector.
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts involving arms, ammunition, munitions, weapons systems, military equipment, or defence manufacturing programs.
- Strong understanding of Defence procurement frameworks, government contracting practices, and commercial risk management.
- Experience supporting major Defence acquisition, sustainment, or capability development projects.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation and supplier management.
