NATA Education & Advisory Services (NEAS) is expanding its panel of contract advisors and we want to hear from experienced ex NATA lead assessors and technical assessors across all accreditation disciplines.
About the role
As a NEAS contract advisor, you will deliver tailored advisory support to laboratories preparing for or maintaining accreditation against standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189, and GLP. Engagements typically run 2–7 days and may include:
- Planning and conducting internal audits (onsite or virtual), including training client audit teams
- Reviewing and drafting quality documentation, SOPs, and procedures
- Performing gap analyses and developing accreditation readiness reports
- Designing risk frameworks and accreditation roadmaps
- Supporting corrective action following internal or external assessments
What we're looking for
- Robust internal audit experience against ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189, or equivalent standards
- Confidence reviewing, drafting,
and structuring quality documentation
- Experience with gap analysis, readiness reporting, and accreditation road mapping
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication
- Comfort working independently across varied client environments
Highly regarded
- Former NATA lead assessor or technical assessor
- Lead Auditor qualifications (or equivalent)
- Experience across multiple laboratory disciplines
Engagement structure Work is offered on a fee-for-service basis as projects arise, with a mix of remote support and onsite visits locally and internationally. Travel and associated expenses are reimbursed in line with NEAS policy.
