Experienced Crane Mechanic – Laverton

McKay United is seeking an experienced Crane Mechanic to join our team, working from our Laverton yard. The successful applicant will have hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing Grove all-terrain cranes and Terex Franna cranes.

Key responsibilities include

- Servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
- Completing repairs and breakdown support
- Conducting crane inspections
- Maintaining accurate service records
- Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements

To be successful, you will have:
- A recognised heavy vehicle, diesel mechanic or relevant trade qualification




- Proven experience working on Grove all-terrain and Terex Franna cranes
- Solid hydraulic, electrical and diagnostic skills
- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current heavy vehicle licence
