Your new role
Joining a collaborative and experienced credit team, you will be responsible for assessing residential mortgage applications and making sound lending decisions within your Delegated Lending Authority. You will review financial information, verify servicing capacity, assess security positions and ensure applications meet credit policy and risk requirements.
You will work closely with brokers, Business Development Managers and internal stakeholders to structure solutions, navigate complex lending scenarios and drive applications through to approval. In addition, you'll contribute to maintaining high credit quality standards, supporting service level outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies across the lending function.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience assessing residential mortgage applications within an Australian non-bank lender
- Currently exercising a DLA
- Strong understanding of residential lending policies, credit risk and responsible lending requirements
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
