Criminal Lawyer (1–3 Years PAE)

Lewenberg & Lewenberg Solicitors is a well-established Melbourne law firm with a strong reputation for providing strategic, practical and results-focused legal representation. We are looking for a motivated Criminal Lawyer (1–3 Years Post Admission Experience) to join our team.

This role offers substantial client contact, regular court appearances and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on a broad range of criminal law matters.

The Role

You will work on a diverse range of criminal law files, including:

- Summary and indictable criminal matters

- Bail applications

- Intervention order proceedings

- Traffic and driving offences

- Pleas and contested hearings

- Appearing and instructing in Magistrates', County and Supreme Court matters

- Instructing counsel and preparing briefs

- Advising clients and managing files from commencement through to resolution

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:





- 1–3 years post-admission practising predominately in Criminal Law

- Advocacy experience across the Victorian Court jurisdictions
- a strong desire to continue developing a career in criminal defence

- Excellent advocacy, communication and interpersonal skills

- Robust drafting and file management abilities
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- A professional, client-focused approach
