Olympus is seeking a Customer IT Support Specialist to join our Medical team based at our Head Office in Notting Hill, Victoria. In this customer-facing technical support role, you will provide first and second-level support across our healthcare software, imaging, and clinical ICT solutions, helping healthcare providers maximise the value of their technology investments.

You will be accountable for:
- Supporting customers through inbound and outbound phone, email and case-based interactions.
- Providing first and second-level technical support for Olympus clinical software, imaging, and healthcare ICT solutions.
- Troubleshooting software, hardware, networking, and integration issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Monitoring and managing service requests and incidents, ensuring service levels and customer expectations are achieved.
- Performing remote system administration, software updates, health checks, proactive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge management, customer education, and change management activities.
This role operates across a customer support environment with service coverage between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday through staggered start and finish times.

What we are looking for:
You will consider yourself to be a customer-focused, technically capable and solutions-oriented individual with:
- Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline (Diploma or Bachelor's degree).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical support,
application support or systems support role with a software, healthcare IT, MedTech or technology provider supporting external customers.
- Proven experience providing support remotely via phone, remote access and service management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across software, hardware and networking environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality customer outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and customer service skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
- Microsoft Windows Server, Azure or related certifications.
- Experience supporting healthcare IT, Digital Health, MedTech or diagnostic applications.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability and integration standards including HL7, DICOM and FHIR.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, querying and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, identity management platforms and enterprise applications.
