Townsville & Suburban Medical Practice (TSMP) is a long-standing family practice located in Cranbrook, Townsville. We deliver a wide range of health care making our practice an exciting place to work. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly team of receptionists, nursing staff and allied health professionals who work closely withan experienced team of general practitioners.

This full-time position will have a fortnightly rotating roster and will include opening and closing of the practice. It would be desirable if the successful candidate has the following skills and attributes:

Previous experience in general practice and/or medical reception

Medical Software experience (Best Practice Software or similar)

Ability to provide efficient, professional and friendly face to face customer service, with a natural enjoyment of working with people

An immaculate skilled presentation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of initiative and the ability to multi-task while remaining calm in a busy general practice

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic





TSMP offers a supportive work environment in a modern workplace. Remuneration is based on "The Health Skilled & Support Services Award 2020" and will depend on your experience.
