St Ives Class Teacher - Permanent Full Time

Sydney Grammar School is an independent, non-denominational day school for boys. The Secondary School (Years 7–12) is located on College Street in the heart of Sydney, and the two Preparatory Schools are located at Edgecliff (Kindergarten–Year 6) and St Ives (Preschool–Year 6).

About the Role

Sydney Grammar School is seeking to employ a highly motivated and qualified Class Teacher within the School's Academic Department. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Class Teacher has primary pastoral and academic responsibility for the boys in their class, working alongside a team of specialist teachers and Senior Staff who provide ongoing support. They are typically the first point of contact for parents, building strong relationships and fostering trust between the School and home. All teachers at St Ives are involved in the School's co‑curricular programme throughout the year, which may include a commitment to Saturday sport.

Qualifications and Experience

- Accredited Teaching Degree with current NESA Proficient Accreditation
- Valid Working With Children Check
- CPR / First Aid Certificate
