Essential Criteria

- Qualificationsand experience in teaching secondary (NESA Life Skills - Science) curriculum.
- Experience in working with students with a range of disabilities.
- Sound knowledge of special education evidence-based practices and pedagogy.
- Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing.
- Accredited at, or working towards, Proficient Level through NESA.
- An ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Excellent interpersonal,communication, and organisationalskills.
- Soundtechnologyskills, including the use ofinteractive whiteboards and iPads.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Collaborative team member.
- Willingness to uphold the Catholic and Edmund Rice ethos of the School.
- Commitment to the School’s Vision and Mission, Strategic Goals and the EREA Charter Touchstones.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the NSW Office of Children’s Guardian Child Safe Standards.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Australian Citizen, permanent resident or a valid visa with full working rights in Australia.

Desirable Criteria

- Experience and/or qualifications in the area of Special Education.
