AABRA Mineral Processing Technology is a growing Australian OEM specializing in the design, manufacture, and servicing of mineral processing equipment, including vibrating screens, feeders, centrifuges, and associated processing equipment for the mining industry.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Field Service Technicians from a Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker or Rigger background to join our NSW Service Team.

This role offers a diverse mix of shutdown maintenance, breakdown support, equipment installation, inspections, and commissioning work across NSW coal mining operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the NSW Service Supervisor, you will provide professional OEM field service support to customers throughout NSW and occasionally interstate.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Planned shutdown maintenance and emergency breakdown support
- Installation, maintenance and overhaul of vibrating screens, feeders, centrifuges and associated plant
- Mechanical fitting, structural repairs and fabrication
- Rigging and lifting activities associated with equipment installation
- Fault finding and diagnosis of mechanical equipment
- Equipment inspections and condition reporting
- Commissioning and testing of recent equipment




- Working closely with customers to provide technical advice and support
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship
- Regular travel throughout NSW with occasional interstate travel

About You

Experience in the following industries will be highly regarded:

- Coal Preparation Plants (CHPP)
- CHPP shutdowns
- Mineral processing
- OEM field service

Experience working on vibrating screens, feeders, centrifuges, or similar processing equipment will be highly regarded.

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker or equivalent trade
- High Risk Work Licence (Rigging, Dogging and/or Forklift highly regarded)
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Current NSW Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
- Current NSW Generic Coal Mine Induction (G2) (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to complete all NSW mine site inductions and comply with NSW Work Health and Safety legislation, the NSW Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act and site-specific safety management systems
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
