Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional professional and administrative support to the students, parents and academic staff at Knox Grammar School. This role supports the Clinic whose function is to deliver a broad range of services to support the School’s educational, pastoral and co-curricular mission. This position will engage with Knox Grammar School staff, parents, students and external parties with an inclusive, courteous and service-orientated disposition.

This is a casual, term-time only position, commencing during Term 3, 2026. We are currently seeking nurse who is available to work regular shifts on Thursdays and Fridays at our Knox Preparatory School. In addition, we are building a talent pool of casual Registered Nurses who can support the School on an on-call basis. Successful candidates will be offered a casual contract and contacted when opportunities arise that align with their availability.

The successful candidate will:

- Provide primary health care to students and staff experiencing illness or injury and elevate or make appropriate referrals as required
- Administer medications in accordance with clinic and school policies




- Identify students with significant health issues and assist in developing appropriate care plans
- Arrange external medical appointments when required
- Assist with monitoring and identifying habitual attendance at the Clinic.
- Emergency Response
- Communication & Confidentiality
- Registered Nurse with 4+ years post-graduate experience and current AHPRA registration
- Commitment to NMBA skilled standards and ongoing clinical excellence
- Experience in school nursing, paediatric/adolescent health; emergency or critical care valued
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong decision-making, independence, adaptability, and confidentiality under pressure
- Excellent communication with children and adults; uphold school ethos and values
- First Aid certificate.
- Valid driver’s license and can travel independently between required locations.
- Experience working in a school or education environment.
