We’re seeking an experienced

Data Migration Lead to drive the successful delivery of a major enterprise migration program. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on planning, building, and executing data migration activities across multiple legacy systems into a up-to-date platform setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, build, and execution of end-to-end data migration pipelines using SQL and SSIS.

- Define migration strategies, sequencing, validation rules, and reconciliation logic across multiple source systems.

- Oversee ETL framework development, error handling, control totals, and load optimisation for large datasets.

- Manage migration readiness — including data mapping, quality assessment, and cutover rehearsal planning.

- Collaborate with technical teams, business SMEs, and external vendors to ensure data accuracy, traceability, and compliance.

- Provide hands-on troubleshooting of SQL and SSIS jobs, ensuring stability and performance across environments.





- Maintain documentation covering mappings, transformation rules, and verification procedures.

- Support governance, testing, and post-cutover validation to confirm successful transition.

What We’re Looking For

- 8+ years of experience delivering data migration or integration projects in complex enterprise environments.

- Expert-level

SQL Server and

SSIS experience, including stored procedures, data flows, error handling, and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of data reconciliation, validation, and cutover execution processes.

- Proven experience working across multiple legacy systems and data sources

.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical progress into business outcomes.

- Exposure to Azure, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms is advantageous.
