Role: Databrics Lead

Type: Full time – Perm / Contract

Location: Sydney, AU

Status: Valid visa with full working rights Key Skills:

8+ years in Data Engineering, with leadership experience

Strong expertise in Databricks, Python, PySpark, Databricks SQL

Experience building data ingestion frameworks (batch, streaming, CDC)

Hands-on with Delta Lake & Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)

Robust knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms

Experience in CI/CD, Git, and DataOps practices

Data modeling (Star/Snowflake), SCD concepts Responsibilities:

Design metadata-driven ingestion frameworks for enterprise data

Define and enforce Lakehouse architecture standards

Lead technical design, code reviews, and mentor engineers

Optimize Spark jobs for performance and cost efficiency

Implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
