In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our dentists and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This is a 12-month maternity leave position, with the posibility of becoming an ongoing role for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures
- Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring their comfort
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked dental surgery
- Supporting the dental team in various administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- A caring, patient-focused approach and excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- A team-player mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
