Cairns Specialist Orthodontists is seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our friendly team on a long-term basis.
This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Chairside assisting in a specialist orthodontic practice
- Fabricating orthodontic appliances in our in office laboratory
- Sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Perform digital teeth scanning and take patient records
The position will commence as a casual role, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment after approximately 12 months. Pay will be negotiated based on the applicable award, age, and any relevant experience. - Be available Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 7:45 am and 5:30 pm
- Be available to work approximately 24–32 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours as the practice grows and once training is completed
