Best Start ELC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children during their early learning years. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating nurturing, stimulating and protected learning environments that foster the development, growth and wellbeing of children in our care. This role is central to our mission of providing high-quality early childhood education and care that supports each child's individual potential and prepares them for future learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement a creative and inclusive curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment for children.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Observe and assess children’s development and progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion and diversity within the centre.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards and centre policies.
- Participate in professional development and stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
