This full-time Executive Housekeeper role at the Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood offers an exciting opportunity to lead the housekeeping department of this prestigious hotel located in Burwood, NSW 2134. As Executive Housekeeper, you will take full ownership of the housekeeping operation, setting the standard for cleanliness, presentation and guest experience across all rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.

What you'll be doing

- Lead, mentor and develop the housekeeping team, including supervisors, room attendants and public area attendants, to deliver exceptional service and maintain immaculate presentation throughout the hotel
- Own the department's budget, controlling labour and supply costs while maintaining service quality
- Design and manage rostering, scheduling and staff allocation to align with occupancy forecasts and business demands
- Establish and enforce housekeeping procedures, policies and health and safety standards across the team
- Partner with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to coordinate operations and resolve guest requests or concerns
- Manage inventory and procurement of housekeeping supplies, equipment and linen, including supplier relationships
- Drive recruitment, training and performance development across the housekeeping team
- Identify and lead process improvements and quality initiatives to elevate the overall housekeeping operation
- Conduct regular quality inspections of rooms and public areas,



ensuring brand and hotel standards are consistently met

What we're looking for

- At least 3-5 years' experience in a senior housekeeping leadership role within a hotel, ideally as an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs and lead a large team effectivelyli>
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a track record of driving operational excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with guests, team members, other departments and suppliers
- Keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Deep knowledge of industry-standard housekeeping procedures, health and safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the demands of the hotel
