Looking for flexibility? This opportunity can be tailored to suit - either full-time (5 days per week) or part time (3 days per week). Initially offered as approximately a 3-month contract to cover holiday leave, there is potential for the role to become permanent depending on business needs.

Reporting directly to the CFO of a thriving hospitality business, you’ll take ownership of payroll operations across a diverse workforce; managing payroll for 80 permanent employees and up to 400 casual staff through Employment Hero (with casual numbers varying depending on events). This is more than just processing payroll, as you’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency while managing the function.

Some of your duties will be:

End-to-end payroll processing

Superannuation and payroll tax

Annual and long service leave calculations

Payroll reporting and analysis

Process improvements and smarter ways of working
