About the job Diesel Mechanic

- with a background in light to medium trucks to join our team in Bohle. This role is ideal for a mechanic who enjoys working on Isuzu, Hino, Fuso and similar smaller trucks, with variety but without constant heavy mining or earthmoving equipment.

- This is a full-time, workshop-based role. We are growing and looking for the right person to join our team long term.

- This role will see you working primarily on light to medium diesel vehicles, including:

- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on light trucks and fleet vehicles

- Diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and systems

- Brake, clutch, suspension and drivetrain repairs

- Dismantling, inspecting, repairing and reassembling components

- Occasional local breakdowns and call-outs (optional)

- Liaising with customers to explain faults and solutions

- Recording work, to ensure accurate record of tasks completed, via an easy-to-use mobile app

- Maintaining a safe and productive workshop
