Reporting to the Digital Accessibility Lead within the IT Corporate Systems team, this role offers the opportunity to influence accessibility outcomes across the Bank and support delivery of our Accessibility Action Plan. As a Digital Accessibility Specialist, you'll work with stakeholders across technology and business teams to embed accessibility into digital products, services and ways of working. You'll provide expert guidance on accessibility standards, testing, governance and compliance, while helping build capability and promote inclusive design practices across the organisation.

What You'll Do:

- Conduct accessibility reviews, audits and assessments across digital platforms and services.
- Provide expert advice on accessibility standards, governance, compliance and assurance.
- Develop and maintain accessibility frameworks, guidelines and testing approaches.
- Define and manage accessibility metrics and reporting to support continuous improvement.
- Partner with project teams to identify accessibility risks and practical remediation solutions.
- Deliver accessibility awareness, training and capability-building initiatives.
- Promote shared ownership of accessibility across teams and business functions.
- Monitor emerging accessibility regulations, technologies and industry best practice.

What You'll Bring

- Extensive experience in digital accessibility reviews, testing and audits.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, inclusive design principles and UX best practice.
- Experience establishing accessibility governance, compliance and assurance practices.




- The ability to identify accessibility barriers and recommend effective, practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and consulting skills.
- Experience delivering accessibility training and awareness programs.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications in accessibility or a related discipline.
