About the Role
As our Digital Cutting Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our digital cutting equipment to produce high-quality finished products across a wide variety of signage and display materials.
Working closely with our Prepress, Print and Production teams, you'll ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently and on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Operating digital cutting systems, including our Zünd cutting table and Zünd Cut Centre (ZCC)
- Loading, setting up and running cutting jobs
- Selecting and monitoring cutting tools for optimum performance
- Managing production workflow to maximise efficiency
- Preparing and loading materials accurately
- Inspecting finished work to ensure exceptional quality
- Troubleshooting machine, tooling and material issues
- Performing routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Working collaboratively with the Prepress and Production teams
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Recording production time accurately for job costing
About You To be successful in this role you'll ideally have:
- Experience operating digital cutting equipment such as Zünd, Kongsberg, Esko or similar CNC cutting systems
- Experience within the signage, print or manufacturing industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to read and interpret production specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to prioritise work and meet production deadlines
- A commitment to workplace safety
Experience with Zünd Cut Centre (ZCC) is highly regarded but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate with relevant industry experience. Why Join Art & Soul Creations?
