Independence Care is on the lookout for committed and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Ballarat and the Central Highlands region. There are currently vacancies open for disability support workers in Ballarat on the program of a male client with disability. This is a one-on-one disability support role in the private home of the client, with flexible daytime and evening shifts, making it a excellent option to balance with study or other commitments.

Support workers will assist with daily living activities, personal care, light household tasks and community access. Reliability, clear communication and a willingness to learn are essential. Experience in disability support and/or relevant checks and certificates will be highly regarded, with training and ongoing support provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

– Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (or professional equivalent)

– Experience preferred, but full training is also provided

– NDIS Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR, and Police Check

– Hindi language skills highly desirable

Pay: $26.44 – $57.00 per hour
