Disability Support Worker – Immediate Start Available

Experienced Disability Support Workers Wanted Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Do you have experience supporting participants with complex behaviours, high physical support needs, and active night shifts?

Bea Care Support Services is looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Supported Independent Living (SIL), In-Home Care, and Community Supports.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants with complex support needs while promoting their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

We have a variety of shifts available, including:

- Day Shifts
- Afternoon & Evening Shifts
- Sleepover Shifts
- Active Night Shifts
- Short shifts (2–4 hours)
- Weekend shifts

Both Casual and Permanent Part-Time opportunities are available.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and manual handling using hoists and other equipment.
- Administer medication (where authorised).
- Support participants with complex behaviours in accordance with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Plans.
- Complete accurate progress notes, incident reports, and documentation.
- Assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and community access.
- Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and the Bea Care team.
- Promote participants' choice, independence, dignity,



and wellbeing.
- Follow NDIS Practice Standards, policies, and safe work practices at all times.

Essential Requirements

To be successful, you will have:

- Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker (SIL or complex care experience highly regarded).
- Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours and high physical support needs.
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work weekends, sleepovers, and active night shifts.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current Victorian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
