As a Gantry Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the protected and efficient movement of steel products throughout the manufacturing facility. Working as part of a production team, you’ll ensure materials are transported accurately to support daily operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Operate gantry cranes to safely move steel products and materials.
Load, unload, stack, and position steel for production and dispatch.
Perform pre-start inspections and report equipment faults.
Assist with manual handling and general warehouse duties as required.
Follow production schedules and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview and undergo a drug and alcohol screen as part of the employment process.
