Aquanation is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Maroondah Leisure team.

The Aquatic Education Coordinator will drive the administration, development and delivery of aquatic programs at Aquanation, including Learn to Swim, and School Aquatics.

The incumbent will work closely with the Programs Manager, Learn to Swim Coordinator (Aquahub), and wider program leadership team to support all aquatic service delivery staff.

This person will deliver exceptional customer service and have an in-depth knowledge of aquatic programs, as well as detailed wider industry knowledge.

Applicants must address all key selection criteria in their application. As part of our selection process, you may be required to have pre-employment checks. (Psychometric Assessment, CrimCheck and Working with Children Check).

Essential Requirements

- Level 2/Senior/Apply/Provide First Aid




- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety / Swim Australia Teacher (or equivalent)
- Teacher of Babies and Toddlers / Infant and Preschool Aquatics
- AUSTSWIM Assessor
- Operate Defibrillator
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check

Desirable Criteria

- Sports Management / Business Degree
- Pool Lifeguard Award
- Aquatic Technical Operator / Pool Operators Certificate
- Teacher of Competitive Strokes / Squad Fundamentals
- Teacher of Access and Inclusion / Learners with Disability
- Teacher of Adolescents and Adults
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
