Day Shift Chiller / Freezer Pickers Wanted Chullora Location !!
Our business partner, a proudlyAustralian-owned company located inChullora , is a leader insupply chain management andlogistics solutions for thefood industry . We are currently seekingexperienced and reliable Pick Packers to join their high-performing warehouse team acrossAmbient, Chiller, and Freezer rooms for their DAY SHIFT OPERATIONS.
This position will be working across all three sections of the business being the Ambient , Chiller and Freezer rooms, if you are unable to work in cold environments please do not apply.
Position Brief Below:
- Shift will be Monday – Friday / Tuesday - Saturday Day shift 06:00 AM - 14:06 PM
- Pay rate will be $34.98 per hour(plus Freezer Allowance)
- Picking Orders in the Ambient, Chiller and Freezer Rooms Via RF Scanners
- Utilizing Electric Pallet Jacks
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders using RF Scanners(Voice Picking experience highly regarded)
- Operate Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJs)safely and efficiently
- Work across Ambient, Chiller, and Freezer environments
- Stack cartons on pallets with attention to weight distribution and safety
- Follow Workplace Health & Safety procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute positively to the team
Requirements:
- Prior experience in warehouse environment
- Cold storage experience essential (Freezer and Chiller rooms)
- Proven EPJ operating skills
- RF Scanning / Voice Picking experience mandatory
- Physically fit and able to work in fast-paced conditions
- Must be flexible with shift times when volumes increase
- Reliable transport and current driver’s license (public transport not readily available)
- Positive communication skills and team player attitude
- Two recent work-related references required
- Must pass pre-employment drug, alcohol & medical tests
