Fully Qualified A-Grade Electrician – Cairns

This is more than a standard electrician position. We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded electrician to take the lead in developing and growing our electrical division in Cairns.

About the Role

The successful candidate will initially remain hands-on while taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery and development of our electrical services in the Cairns region.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading electrical projects,



installations, maintenance and service work
- Developing electrical opportunities within our existing commercial client portfolio
- Quoting, planning and coordinating electrical works
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service
- Supporting the recruitment, training and management of future electrical team members
- Working closely with our mechanical, refrigeration, controls and project teams
- Helping establish the systems, standards and direction of the electrical division

What We’re Looking For

- Fully qualified Queensland electrician with a current electrical mechanic licence
- Strong commercial electrical installation, service and maintenance experience
- Experience with HVAC electrical systems, controls, switchboards, motors and associated equipment highly regarded
- Previous supervisory, project management or team leadership experience
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and build client relationships
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and lead by example
- Current Queensland driver’s licence

This position would suit a senior electrician, electrical supervisor or project electrician who is ready to step into a genuine leadership role and build something of their own—without the risk of starting a business from scratch.
