Sanctuary Early Learning Centre is on the lookout for an amazing Certificate III Educator to join our team.

Now, before you apply, there are a few essential requirements...

You must be able to confidently accept a handful of bark chips, a feather and a slightly questionable leaf as a birthday gift.

You must understand that "Watch this!" is not a request. It is a demand.

You must be willing to spend 20 minutes helping a child build a sandcastle, only for them to immediately bulldoze it and start again.

You must be able to identify the owner of an unnamed drink bottle using nothing but detective skills and intuition.

You must appreciate that finding a child's missing hat is harder than finding a park at Bunnings on a Saturday morning.

You must be willing to discuss dinosaurs, excavators, Bluey, bugs and why the moon is following us home.

You must understand that every stick is either a magic wand, a fishing rod or a sword.

You must be comfortable drinking countless cups of pretend tea and being served mud pies that have been "cooked" to perfection.

You must be prepared to hear "Mum!" at least once a week, regardless of your actual name.

You don't need to sing in tune - but confidence is non-negotiable.

The Responsible Stuff - What you need:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working With Children Check
- A commitment to creating child safe environments




- A comprehensive understanding of child protection and the ability to ensure child safety always remains paramount
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- A genuine love of working with children
- Brings warmth, kindness and a good sense of humour to every day.
- Loves getting outdoors, whether it's sunshine, drizzle or one of those random weather changes Australia throws at us.
- Understands that the best learning often happens with muddy hands, curious minds and lots of questions.
- Builds genuine relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Knows that sometimes the biggest achievement of the day is convincing a three-year-old that shoes are not optional.
- A supportive team who genuinely enjoy working together.
- Plenty of laughs every single day.
- Opportunities to learn and grow professionally.
- More high fives, handmade cards and "Look what I made!" moments than you can count.
- The chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and their families.
