We're looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Laboratory & Dispensary Technician to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

You'll predominantly work in our dispensary, blending herbal medicines and dispatching patient orders, building testing kits and placing supplier orders.

You'll receive full training across our laboratory, from specimen reception through to operating laboratory instrumentation and assisting with diagnostic testing and be our laboratory cover.

You'll also support inventory management, quality systems and help ensure our Alexandria headquarters operates efficiently every day.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical laboratory work, likes following systems and wants to build a long-term career in healthcare.

Your Responsibilities

Dispensary

- Prepare and pack personalised herbal medicine prescriptions.

- Pack and dispatch daily patient orders.

- Prepare pathology testing kits.

- Maintain inventory and stock levels.

- Complete stocktakes and supplier ordering.

- Maintain exceptional accuracy and quality.

Laboratory

- Receive and process pathology samples.

- Prepare specimens for testing.

- Learn laboratory workflows and instrumentation.

- Assist with pathology testing.

- Maintain laboratory documentation.





- Support quality assurance procedures.

- Maintain a clean and organised laboratory.

General

- Follow SOPs and quality systems.

- Help improve efficiency and workflow.

- Maintain accurate records.

- Support the wider team where required.

- Help maintain a clean, organised and professional workplace.

Highly Desirable

- Qualification or studies in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Health Science, Pharmacy, Naturopathy or a related discipline.

- Laboratory or pathology experience.

- Pharmacy or dispensary experience.

- Healthcare experience.

- Inventory or warehouse experience.

- Experience working within quality systems.
