Share your time during weekly or fortnightly visits with an compelling gentleman living Aged Care Facility, located in Berwick.

Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. He used to be a handyman, loves to chat as well as sing - he has a beautiful voice. He is of Hungarian background so if you can converse with him in his mother tongue, it would be nice (but not mandatory). Your regular visits (preferably on weekends) can make a real and positive difference in the life of this gentleman - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to weekly/fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

To find out more please 'express interest' below and we will get in contact with you.
