Early Childhood Educators (Fixed term & Casual Opportunities)

Concordia Lutheran College Kindergarten is a beautiful, community, not-for-profit, 5-day, 2 room kindergarten located on the grounds of Concordia Lutheran College in Toowoomba.

The Service operates Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 5.30pm and is open for 50 weeks of the year, with a two-week closure from mid-December to January each year.

The Kindergarten hosts two Early Education Programs run by a Bachelor qualified teaching team.

About the Role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team in a fixed term or casual capacity until the end of 2026. Due to an increase in enrolments and our Kindergarten reaching full licensed capacity, we are expanding our team to ensure we continue delivering high-quality care and education.

Possibility of extension for the right candidate.

These roles are ideal for educators who are committed to creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while working collaboratively within a supportive team.

Successful applicants must have:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Geccko Training experience
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Framework and QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.




- A professional and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to develop and maintain robust relationships with families, children and colleagues

In this role, you will make a positive difference in the lives of children and families by:

- Delivering a high quality, inclusive, approved Kindergarten program;
- Ensuring learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards and the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines;
- Facilitating activities and programs, both indoors and outdoors
- Writing observations and analysing the children's progression and development;
- Providing children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment;
- Developing strong relationships with children and effectively communicating with parents and carers;
- Working with a friendly and supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families;
- Supporting the Christian ethos and values of the Kindergarten.
