The Hive Brighton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our growing early learning team. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional educational programs while working in a supportive environment that values collaboration, qualified growth and high-quality outcomes for children.

The Opportunity

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

- Deliver a high-quality kindergarten program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning
- Observe, assess and document children's learning and development
- Foster children's independence, creativity, critical thinking and social-emotional wellbeing
- Build strong, positive relationships with families through open and meaningful communication
- Mentor and collaborate with educators to support best practice across the team
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Minimum two years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong communication, leadership and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality educational outcomes and mentoring fellow educators
